How did I get here? I was born in Colombia and a few years ago I decided to move to the USA in pursuit of a better future for me and my family. Of course I had no credit history in this country and no knowledge whatsoever as to the rules of the game in terms of credit, banking, doing business and I also had never considered financial freedom as an option for me.

Shortly after arriving, I was faced with many challenges, firstly, how do I build good personal credit? What can a high credit score help me with? How do I set up a business? After struggling to answer all these questions and also raise capital to start my own business, I discovered a way that did not involve asking my friends or family for money and also avoided having to partner up with someone to start the business.

I decided to educate myself and learn all I could to be better able to help others who were on the same path as me.
